Information about the new districts D-2325, D-2335, D-2355, D-2365, D-2395, D-2405

By 1. July 2024 the number of rotary districts in Sweden will be reduced from 10 to 6.

The following districts will exist then:

  • D-2325 -  the district will use ClubRunner, but some clubs will use Polaris  
  • D-2335 - the district and clubs will use Polaris
  • D-2355 - the district and most of the clubs will use Polaris
  • D-2365 - the district will use ClubRunner, but several clubs will use Polaris
  • D-2395 - the district and clubs will use ClubRunner
  • D-2405 - the district will use ClubRunne, but some clubs will use Polaris

In total 145 clubs will use Polaris in Sweden.

Even though new districts will be created, the migration of the districts and clubs which uses Polaris today will be seamless. The clubs will not lose any data and the impact is minimized. The sections below give the users, officers and administrators the answers to the most important questions.

Next actions:
- February/March 2024 - create this page
- April 2024 - prepare the migration plan
- May 2024 - Create new districts pages
-  30. May 2024 - finalize the list of migrated clubs, Some clubs will be disabled in Polaris
- 17. June 2024 - Inform all Polaris clubs by E-mail.
- 1. July 2024 - The clubs will be migrated and will receive a new URL

What will happen on 1-st July 2024?

  •  1. July is Monday and Polaris will be not available from 8:00 to 16:00.
  • When the system is ready you will be notified by e-mail.
  • During the fist login, you will need to give consent to the Polaris terms and conditions

From then on you will be able to use Polaris as before. Make sure you do update your bookmarks in the browser and on the smartphone to point to the new URL.
